Bruno Mars Signs Multi-Year Deal With MGM Resorts
LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) — Singer Bruno Mars has signed a new long-term agreement with MGM Resorts International that will see him performing at multiple MGM venues, including Park Theater At Monte Carlo in Las Vegas and The Theater At MGM National Harbor in Maryland.
Mars is booked to perform two shows at the new 5,300-seat Park Theater at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, on December 30th and the following night on New Year's Eve. As well, he's due to perform there early next year, with shows set for March 11 and 12th.
Mars will also be on hand to help debut the new Theater at MGM National Harbor. The 4,000-capacity theater is part of a new $1.4 billion resort on the shore of the Potomac River in Maryland which is set to debut. MGM has teased other artists for the opening but thus far, only Mars has been announced for the Maryland location.
"Bruno is among the most talented performers in the world and we are excited to start a long-term relationship with him across our industry-leading portfolio of entertainment venues," said Bill Hornbuckle, president of MGM Resorts International. "There is no stronger launching pad for a new venue than for Bruno Mars to be among the first to grace its stage, and we get to do it twice, an amazing beginning to a multi-year partnership." – Staff Writers
